I have had several people bring up the idea of a talent night. A night where this family can show off it's talents. Or in my case, no-talents. Some ideas were:
*Skits
*singing
*dancing
*races (obstacle course, toilet paper race,etc)

River Float at Reunion
Mandy wanted me to post that Aunt Delpha has put her in charge of a river float during the reunion.
*How many would be interested in that?
*Would tubes be good enough or should she look into finding some rafts?
Thoughts? Questions?
I think it sounds like fun.

What to do...what to do....
Here awhile back on Facebook, a few of my Idaho cousins and a certian sister nominated me to be in charge of a get together. *Thanks guys* So that's kind of what I am doing. I know I am cheating a little, as I am just following the path the reunion committe has already forged. But I am started none the less. Sooooo....
How 'bout some ideas for activities?? Taking any and all suggestions. Big ideas to small ideas.
Examples:
* some ideas for ice breakers/get to meet your cousins
* theme for the weekend
* try to take family pictures
* Scavenger Hunts
* Family Bingo
* Lip Sync Contest
*Those that live close by, what would be some cool things to go see and do while we are there?
*There has been interest in doing a cookbook. Any do we have people bring their recipe and put one together?
* If there are horseshoe pits, how about a tournament?
* How about getting some sort of family tree written down for those of us that can't remember. and make copies/make a book.

Change in Locations for 2010
There has been a change in locations for the 2010 reunion. This year the reunion will be held at the Teton Tepee Ski Resort in Alta Wyoming. This letter states that it's just 4.7 miles from Driggs, Idaho.
The dates for the reuinon are from noon on July 2, 2010 through noon on Friday July 5. So mark you calenders!!
All sleeping and camping spaces will be on the first-come first-served basis with deposit. There are 18 rooms with double beds and individual bathrooms. There is also a boys and a girls drom with 22 bunk beds in each room. All bedding is furnished. There are R.V. dump stations in both Driggs and Tetonia Idaho.
All dining and kitchen utensils are provided at the lodge. All Meals will be provided beginning with supper on July 2nd and ending with breakfast on July 5th. Please bring any special foods that you may require. Don't be shy about bringing along some cookies or desserts for evening snacks while playing games and cards.
The cost for the entire reunion is $45 per person. This includes all food and lodging. Cost per day for those over 12 years of age is $15. The charge for children from 8 to 11 is for food only and is only $5.00, their loding is free. There will be no charge for children under the age of 7. The cost per day person if not staying and just there for the day is $10.
A craft table and quilt raffle are in the works. If you have any items you would like to donate please bring them along. The money raised is used to help defray reunion expenses.
There is a school across the road with a playground for the kids. Just a mile from the lodge is a golf course. The ski lift will be in operation while we are there. ( I can tell you right now, you will NOT be getting me on the ski lift!) We are close to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone Park.
The town of Victor has a firework show on the 4th. There are NO fireworks or firecrackers allowed on the campground at the lodge.
